Trad Tuesday - When You Were Sweet Sixteen sung by The Fureys

Written by James Thornton in the lates 19th century, When You Were Sweet Sixteen was inspired by the composer's wife. He was a popular vaudevillian of the time and wrote many songs, but this is among his most popular and still sung today.

The Fureys are a popular Irish group originally consisting of four brothers of Irish Traveller heritage. They still perform although the mix of players has changed some.
