Trad Tuesday: Sleepy Maggie performed by Ashley MacIsaac and Mary Jane Lamond


Sleepy Maggie is a traditional song sung in Scots Gaelic. Ashley MacIsaac is a Cape Breton fiddler, not always traditional except in his kilt-wearing (see Conan O'Brien appearance) and Mary Jane Lomand is a Cape Breton singer known for her Gaelic singing. Their recording of Sleepy Maggie was a hit record at the time.
